The story & symbolism
The ship was a huge part of Nordic society during the Viking age. Instead one chooses to embrace the unknown, as something to tame, a symbol of courage and resilience. People would sing songs and tell stories of Odin and his sons on these long voyages according to the Sagas. There are pictures of great ships as far back as the bronze age, found on petroglyphs in the nordic landscape. The same way these people set sail to hopefully return greater, richer, smarter than before - let this amulet remind you of this, a reminder of your own journeys and an encourager to keep on facing the unknown.
